- Laser precision
Using laser technology, the Logitech mouse allows you to more precisely pinpoint your movements, unlike other trackball mice. This is particularly helpful when working with design programs or playing video games, as well as just basic computer operations.
Performance
Logitech's precision laser technology does help improve accuracy over other types of mice, and the V450 wireless mouse works pretty seamlessly when navigating the computer screen, but did once lose its signal (or see the strength weaken) at rare moments while I was testing it. If it is a consistent problem (rather than just an issue with my charge), this, in turn, may cause problems with the response time of the mouse. But wireless technology isn't perfection.
The Logitech also offers a few other fun features that improve its overall quality. The receiver is charged by a USB port and can be stored on the actual mouse when not in use -- gotta love being able to charge it while you're using it. An on/off button, when used, will also help to save the life of the batteries -- though it does not come with rechargeable ones. The modern ergonomic design also contours to your hand.
