Cons
Features
- Smooth, Customizable Typing Action
If there has been a keyboard created with almost perfect keys, this is it. They don't click, they don't clack, they are not too soft, and they're not too stiff. Typing is quiet, smooth, and very comfortable.
The Logitech G11's keys are also positioned extremely well -- they aren't too close together or awkwardly placed otherwise. In fact, the keyboard is actually a little larger than the average one to accommodate this benefit.
Additionally, the keys themsevles are a good size. And as feature for the gamers and power users out there, the keyboard offers 18 macro keys with three mode keys. This means, you can program up to 54 different macros. The only downside -- the G keys don't really have a purpose and are not compatible with a lot of applications.
Performance
This Logitech keyboard is a high performance device, to be sure. The keyboard setup allows your hands to glide gracefully from key to key, including the personalized ones, which all work appropriately -- except those G keys. The design is overall sturdy, and it includes a decent backlight -- although it's nothing that sets it apart from other illuminated keyboards.
The keyboard's design allows it to be applicable to both gamers and non-gamers alike. A simple switch allows you to disable the Windows start key so you do not accidentally mess up a game. The connectivity is also great, as two convenient USB inputs on the keyboard allow you to plug in a mouse or game controller easily without reaching around to your actual PC for USB port access.
