So, if you're the type of person who hates buying batteries (or stealing them from your TV's remote control), then this mouse may be the one for you. It's cheap, precise, handles decently, and has a sleek, modern design.

Pros
- Rechargeable
- Sleek design
- Easy to setup
Cons
- Have to use mousepad; plastic may scratch desk
- Small--may be problem for those with larger hands
Features
- Rechargable
Unlike other wireless mice, the Verbatim Optical Wireless mouse does not need it's batteries replaced constantly; rather, it simply recharges through a usb port with the provided cable. This is a great convenience when you still need to use the mouse even after it runs out of battery life, and it's one which is surprisingly not standard on many wireless mice.
However, it should be recharged when not in use as the battery power has a short duration. If you are a person on the computer all day, it may not last that long. But, don't forget about the money saved in not purchasing new batteries--not to mention that saved by this wireless mouse for under $40.
Performance
The mouse functions well when charged, and its fine for everyday use, but if you're the sort of person who is constantly on the computer, or a gamer, you may want to consider a slightly higher-end mouse with more of a battery life. The Verbatim optical wireless mouse tends to lose its charge quickly, and has no functional off button to save the charge as much as possible.
The Verbatim is a simple mouse, and should be used for simple purposes, for which it works very well. If you share your PC, however, note that multiple programmable buttons with customizable profiles, however, won't be found.
But, for the price, it works well and doesn't have any major flaws.
