HP Officejet 7410 All-in-One in UseSetting up the HP Officejet 7410 All-in-One Setup of the HP Officejet 7410 All-in-One was easy to do, though more complected than typical all-in-one printers due to the duplex unit and page feeder. The HP Officejet 7410 All-in-One is a large printer, so be sure before you purchase that you have enough room for it. The HP Officejet 7410 All-in-One measures 21.6 x 17.2 x 13.9 inches. The software included with the 7410 is full featured and took about 11 minutes to install on my system. The HP Officejet 7410 All-in-One is compatible with Windows 98, 98 SE, 2000, Me, XP Home, XP Professional and Mac OS 9.2; Mac OS X v 10.1.5, 10.2.3, 10.3. Printing The 8x10 test photo I printed from the 7410 at best photo resolution took its time printing and when it was complete took a bit over 2 minutes. Photo quality was good, though not nearly as high quality as the Epson RX700. The Officejet 7410 All-in-One does not use individual ink cartridges for each ink color and only uses three color inks, rather than the 5 color inks of some higher end photo printers. While a photo ink cartridge is available for the HP Officejet 7410 All-in-One, the photo cartridge was not available to me during testing. The photo cartridge may have helped the photo print quality of the 7410. Normal fax printing and document printing was very fast. Printing with the duplex option for front and back printing was quite a bit slower than standard printing. Text printed on the front of the page is given time for the ink to dry before it is pulled back into the duplex unit for printing on the other side. This ensures that your finished page is smudge free, but does add significantly to the print time. The recommended monthly print volume is 5000 pages with the HP Officejet 7410 All-in-One.
