At a Glance

Pros

  • Affordable
  • Offers lots of adjustments for brightness and contrast
  • Nice design

Cons

  • No warranty
  • Manual does not offer good instructions

Features

  • Decent picture for the price

The Acer monitor has a 1680x1050 resolution. The picture is nice and bright, but not the crispest I've seen at this resolution. In this price range, however, it's hard to find color and brightness that rival what the Acer provides.

There are hardly any 22" monitors at this price, and the Acer monitor is positively massive for the price.

Performance

The picture on the Acer monitor is very decent, plus the horizontal and vertical viewing angles are better than on some more expensive models. The response time is rather slow though, so it may not be the best for those who enjoy gaming or watching movies or action video games.

However, if you are one who only uses your computer for basic needs and would like a larger monitor, then this Acer would work great.
