Description
Guide Review - SkipDr Automax Disc Repair SystemFeatures of the SkipDr Automax Disc Repair SystemThe SkipDr Automax Disc Repair System is about as easy to use as it gets. It is fully automatic, all you have to do is spray the disc and slip it into the repair slot. The SkipDr will turn itself on, repair the disc, eject the disc and turn itself off. All types of CDs and DVDs are compatible with the SkipDr and it requires no harsh chemicals. The resurfacing wheel requires replacement after repairing 50 discs. While no AC adapter ships with the SkipDr Automax Disc Repair System, there is a port for an AC adapter. SkipDr Automax Disc Repair System in UseUsing the SkipDr Automax Disc Repair System is very easy. Spray and slip it into the device and away it goes. I used the SkipDr to make repairs on a DVD movie that would become unreadable at one point due to fine scratches on the disc surface. SkipDr made it where the disc could be read through the entire movie, though the movie did skip a bit still in the same spot. I also used the device to repair a scratched CD with excellent results. No more skipping was present during playback after repair with the SkipDr Automax Disc Repair System. A small bottle of resurfacing fluid and a polishing cloth are included with the device. Battery life was very short so I suggest you buy and use the AC adapter. I was only able to repair four discs before the batteries needed replacement. |
