Zippered Case

One of my favorite features of the Mobile Office Cable Kit is the padded, formed case. The case has foam padded, pre-formed spaces for each part of the kit to reside. That means that every time you open the zippered bag up parts won't be falling out on your lap. Each and every one of the 17 different pieces of the kit are firmly held in place.

Cables To Go Mobile Office Cable Kit in Use

All of the retractable cables feature a ratchet mechanism that stops them from retracting unless you want them too. You don't have to be concerned that the retractable cable will coil up on their own and disconnect you at an inopportune moment. Each of the different cable adapters is very easy to put on and take off of the USB and FireWire cables.

The included USB hub is only USB 1.1, but does ensure that you have enough USB ports in a bind. The inclusion of a tiny optical mouse with two buttons and a scroll wheel is a great addition to the kit. While the mouse won't win any awards for speed or functionality, it is worlds better than using the touch pad on your laptop for days on end while on the road.

The included headset and microphone allows you to listen to messages, music and movies privately while the mic allows you to use VOIP while on the go. All in all, the Cables To Go Mobile Office Cable Kit is a great way to keep everything you might need PC cable wise with you on the go. It takes up little room in your bag and it works very well.
