The Cloth Surface of the Aqua 3 is specially designed to improve mouse control. The rubber base of pad is textured and slip free for most desktop surfaces. The mousepad is also washable, which will be great for users that carry it lots of places. The dimensions of the pad are 15.7" x 11" by .12".

The cloth top of the mousepad does a great job of improving your control offering lots of feedback to your mousing action, however, this is done at the expense of speed. The rubber backing makes the pad well cushioned, while being thinner than most mousepads. The top of the mousepad feels more like neoprene to me than cloth, which is not a bad thing. One of the things I typically don't care for on a cloth top mousepad is the feel of the cloth under my wrist and the Aqua 3 is smoother feeling than your typical cloth top mousepad. Personally, I still prefer plastic top mousepads because of the increased speed and reduced friction they offer to mousing action.
