The Bottom Line
- Flexible
- Low profile
- Plastic surface
- Too large for many keyboard trays
Description
- Mousing surface of the Victory is easy to clean with a simple damp cloth.
- Works equally well for both optical and laser mice.
- Larger dimensions will mean some gamers won't be able to fit the Victory into keyboard trays.
Guide Review - Corepad Victory Mouse Pad
Features of Corepad Victory Mouse Pad
The Victory from Corepad is a durable plastic surfaced gaming mouse pad designed for speed. The non skid backing helps keep the Victory in place when used hard and keeps the pad flexible. The mouse pad is a larger design measuring in at 13" x 11.23" x .007". If your desk has a keyboard tray, I suggest you measure it before you buy the Victory.
Corepad Victory Mouse Pad in Use
Gaming on the Corepad Victory was a blast. The surface is slick and makes for good speed without sacrificing much in the way of feedback. The lightly textured surface gives good tactile feedback when mousing. Semi-rigid plastic surface on the Victory makes this pad a good compromise for gamers wanting a non-cloth surface, but not wanting a rigid base mouse pad.
Cleaning the Victory requires a simple damp cloth. I used the Victory with both the Razer Copperhead laser mouse and Razer's new infrared Pro v1.6 optical mouse. Both mice tracked well and had no issues with the Victory. At times inferior mousing surfaces may not work with both laser and optical mice. The Victory performed very well and if you have to choose a flexible mouse pad, I highly recommend it.
