![]() Logitech G7 Cordless Gaming Mouse Logitech G7 Cordless Gaming Mouse Suggested ReadingLogitech G7 Cordless Gaming MouseGuide Rating - ![]() One of the most overlooked gaming peripherals is the mouse. Choosing the best mouse can have a profound effect on your gaming experience. Choose the correct mouse and dominate, choose a bad mouse and get fragged. The Logitech G7 Cordless Gaming Mouse is an excellent mouse for gaming and normal use. Features of the Logitech G7 Cordless Gaming MouseThe Logitech G7 Cordless Gaming Mouse's most obvious feature is its gaming grade 2000 dpi laser engine. The gaming grade laser of the Logitech G7 Cordless Gaming Mouse images at a whopping 6.3 megpixels per second! The sensor is also monstrous at 30 by 30 pixels. Hardcore gamers get a bit nervous when you talk about wireless mice. With wireless mice lag can be a big issue, not so with the Logitech G7 Cordless Gaming Mouse. The Logitech G7 Cordless Gaming Mouse uses a full speed USB connection along with 2.4GHz wireless connection that eliminates lag and dropouts. One of the coolest features of the Logitech G7 Cordless Gaming Mouse is the battery packs. The Logitech G7 Cordless Gaming Mouse uses two quick release and connect Li-ion battery packs that are very light. The battery life is very good and lasts up to two and a half days in gaming mode. The Logitech G7 Cordless Gaming Mouse also sports an easy to read battery charge indicator and the included software alerts you on screen when the battery needs replacement. The Logitech G7 Cordless Gaming Mouse also sports some of the slickest and largest feet I have seen on a gaming mouse or any mouse for that matter. It has three feet that cover more surface than the four feet on most mice do. The abundance of slick contact area for the Logitech G7 Cordless Gaming Mouse ensures accurate tracking and fluid movement during game play. Another really cool feature of the Logitech G7 Cordless Gaming Mouse is on the fly adjustability of the mouse sensitivity from the mouse in game. To adjust the sensitivity simply click the little buttons under the scroll wheel and adjust the Logitech G7 Cordless Gaming Mouse from sensitivity levels of 400 dpi, 800 dpi and 2000 dpi. The included SetPoint software also allows you to customize the levels of sensitivity you have to choose from. Adjustable sensitivity is great when you need pixel level accuracy, such as sniping in shooters. Logitech G7 Cordless Gaming Mouse in UseGaming with the Logitech G7 Cordless Gaming Mouse is supreme. This is hands down currently my favorite mouse to game with. Typically I shy away from wireless mouse due to the often lag ridden performance and the fact that I chronically neglect to recharge them leaving me using the keyboard for mouse functions, which is horrible. With the Logitech G7 Cordless Gaming Mouse I don't have to remember to put the mouse on the charger. You simply charge both batteries to start with and as one runs down, exchange it for the fresh one. If that does not make the Logitech G7 Cordless Gaming Mouse the best cordless out there, I want to see the feature that beats it. The adjustable sensitivity is great and makes it much easier to do things in game that require precision such as sniping. The Logitech G7 Cordless Gaming Mouse also feels very comfortable in the hand. It is important to point out that the Logitech G7 Cordless Gaming Mouse is for right handers only.
