Features of the HP MP3220 Digital ProjectorImage Quality The HP MP3220 Digital Projector has a very good image quality with 2,000 comparable lumens and a 2000:1 contrast ratio. The 2,000 lumens makes the HP MP3220 Digital Projector one of the brighter projectors in its class. Portability The HP MP3220 Digital Projector is a very easy projector to take with you on the road for business or pleasure. At less that four pounds, you hardly notice that you are carrying the HP MP3220 Digital Projector. The HP MP3220 Digital Projector also includes a nice padded and fitted carry case with pockets for the remote and cables. Inputs The HP MP3220 Digital Projector features several different video inputs including S-video, composite, component and HDTV terminals. However, the HP MP3220 Digital Projector featured no DVI input. Presentation Settings The HP MP3220 Digital Projector is also a very adaptable projector and can work with XGA, SVGA, VGA, SXGA and Mac all from one MD-1 input terminal. Signal Detection One of the best features of the HP MP3220 Digital Projector is the automatic input selection. HP MP3220 Digital Projector in UseMultimedia Presentations Perhaps the most common use for the HP MP3220 Digital Projector will be for presentations via PowerPoint or similar programs. The HP MP3220 Digital Projector is great for this type of task. No matter the screen size, the projected images from PowerPoint were clear and legible. I also liked the fact that after use the HP MP3220 Digital Projector cooled down quickly so I could pack it up and be on my way. Gaming My favorite thing to do with the HP MP3220 Digital Projector was to play video games with it. F.E.A.R looked superb on a six foot wide screen! I noticed no ghosting or lag when gaming with the HP MP3220 Digital Projector. Even in dark game environments, like the ones common in Doom 3, the HP MP3220 had good grey scale contrast and picture quality. The HP MP3220 Digital Projector has a really cool lens cover that is securely connected to the projector body. To use the MP3220 you simply rotate the lens cover to the side, uncovering the lens. The cool part about the lens cover is that you can't loose it. While the carry case the HP MP3220 Digital Projector comes with is padded and holds the wireless remote and power cord and has pouches for other connection cables, it only includes a standard VGA cable. No S-Video or component cables are included with the projector. Overall, the HP MP3220 Digital Projector is a great projector at a good price that can suit many needs for both work and entertainment. I think the HP MP3220 Digital Projector will be as at home in the boardroom as it is in the home theater. Suggested Reading |
