Description
Guide Review - Microsoft Wireless Laser Desktop 7000 ReviewThe Microsoft Wireless Laser Desktop 7000 features a cordless comfort curve keyboard that tilts the keys for more comfortable typing. The keyboard is powered by a pair of AA batteries and features a Windows Flip 3D key. The mouse and keyboard use 2.4GHz wireless mini transceiver that promises 30-foot range. In testing I was able to get more range than promised without any interference. Typing feel for the keyboard is very good with nice responsive keys and a nice click when keys are pressed. The mouse uses rechargeable batteries and has a indicator light to remind you when to charge the batteries. The mouse also features a magnifier, 4-way scrolling and a 1000 dpi resolution. The design of the mouse is right hand only so lefties are left out. The mouse charges on a horizontal charging station and has a total of five programmable buttons. Other features of the keyboard include a trio of floating My Favorite keys that are touch sensitive and allow you to bring shortcuts for folders, files and web pages to be accessed at the touch of a button. Overall, the Microsoft Wireless Laser Desktop 7000 is a very good desktop that performance well and will work great for the majority of users. |
