Features of the Thrustmaster Rallye GT Pro Force Feedback Wheel
The Thrustmaster Rallye GT Pro Force Feedback has some really cool features. The most interesting feature of the Thrustmaster Rallye GT Pro Force Feedback is its five axes design. The additional axes of the Thrustmaster Rallye GT Pro Force Feedback allows you to bind progressive controls for the clutch, cockpit view, hand brake or other controls to the paddles below the sequential shifter paddles.
The Thrustmaster Rallye GT Pro Force Feedback also has excellent force feedback action and uses licensed Immersion technology. The force feedback system utilizes dual pulley's and belts for smooth, snag free feedback.
The Thrustmaster Rallye GT Pro Force Feedback is one of the best feeling force feedback wheels around. You can feel every bump and pothole in the road your car is on.
The Thrustmaster Rallye GT Pro Force Feedback has two shifting options with wheel mounted paddles or a real gear shifter on the right side of the enclosure. To keep the Thrustmaster Rallye GT Pro Force Feedback wheel firmly in place during spirited driving, the clamping mechanism is made of metal rather than plastic like some other wheels on the market.
Thrustmaster Rallye GT Pro Force Feedback in Use
Gaming with the Thrustmaster Rallye GT Pro Force Feedback wheel was a blast. When I used it to play Need for Speed Most Wanted it added greatly to the feel and realism of the game. When you hit a wall or obstacle you feel it through the wheel. Get nudged by a competitor or the police during a race or pursuit and the force feedback responds. I also really enjoyed the feel of the Gs the Thrustmaster Rallye GT Pro Force Feedback provides as I sped around corners at over 200 MPH.
Fans of racing sims and driving games, you don't know what you are missing if you are not using a wheel with force feedback. Personally, I found the Logitech Momo Force Feedback wheel easier to set up than the Thrustmaster Rallye GT Pro Force Feedback.
I had issues getting my system to recognize the Thrustmaster Rallye GT Pro Force Feedback wheel, and Need for Speed Most Wanted flat refused to recognize the Thrustmaster Rallye GT Pro Force Feedback wheel at first. The addition of the fourth and fifth axes go a long way in making up for set up issues. Also on a different system, you may have no set up issues at all.
