![]() Logitech MOMO Racing Steering Wheel Logitech Suggested ReadingLogitech MOMO Racing Steering WheelGuide Rating - ![]() If you have ever struggled to play a racing game with your keyboard and mouse, you owe it to yourself to get a Logitech MOMO Racing Steering Wheel. The Logitech MOMO Racing Steering Wheel also includes excellent force feedback action to bring more realism to your games. Features of the Logitech MOMO Racing Steering WheelWheel Features The actual MOMO steering wheel on the Logitech MOMO Racing Steering Wheel is a "D" shaped wheel with a rubber grip that it very easy to hold, even during aggressive maneuvers. The inside of the wheel also has six buttons that you can map to different commands and the wheel rotates through 240 degrees. Force Feedback The Logitech MOMO Racing Steering Wheel has great force feedback function. When driving with the Logitech MOMO Racing Steering Wheel you feel every little dip and bump in the road. The force feedback function also adds realism to the game by allowing you to be able to feel where on the track your car is and what the cars wheels are doing. Shifting Gears The Logitech MOMO Racing Steering Wheel also features two different gear shifter styles to suit your preference. Behind the MOMO wheel, you have the two sequential paddles for gear selection and on the dash of the Logitech MOMO Racing Steering Wheel you have a sequential shift knob. Pedals The Logitech MOMO Racing Steering Wheel also includes a cool pedal set that has a gas and brake pedal. The back side of the Logitech MOMO Racing Steering Wheel pedal set has special carpet grips to keep the pedals from sliding around during use. Logitech MOMO Racing Steering Wheel in UseSetting up the Logitech MOMO Racing Steering Wheel Setting up the Logitech MOMO Racing Steering Wheel is easy to do. The Logitech MOMO Racing Steering Wheel attaches to your desk with a simple screw clamp that allows it to be easily removed when done playing. Installing the Profiler software was also a snap, and if you own other Logitech gaming peripherals that use the profiler software, you don't even have to install the profiler software again. The only issue I saw with the Logitech MOMO Racing Steering Wheel during game play was that it tended to slide to the left and right if I turned the wheel too vigorously. However, in my case this was likely due to the desk I use, which has a very thin 1/2" surface thickness. If your desk is less that 1/2" thick, expect to have to use blocks to get the clamp tight enough to hold the Logitech MOMO Racing Steering Wheel in place. Force Feedback in Use Playing games that support force feedback with the Logitech MOMO Racing Steering Wheel is cool in the extreme. The addition of force feedback makes the games seem so much more realistic and makes driving games much more fun. The force feedback action helps you to feel what your vehicle is doing on the track, very much like you would feel in a real car if you were driving. If you are really into racing and driving sim games, you owe it to yourself to get a Logitech MOMO Racing Steering Wheel. The realism it adds to your game is simply stunning. Suggested Reading |
