What are eSkins Laptop Skins?

eSkins Laptop Skins are basically a big sticker that goes on the back of your laptops display shell. You peel them off of a big sticker backing and gently adhere the skin to your notebook computer.

Three different sizes of skins are available to fit most laptops without trimming being required. Small is 11.2" x 9.6" and would be great for ultra portable systems, medium is 13.7" x 10" and was the ideal size for my Acer TravelMate 4404 WLMi notebook. Finally you have the large size that measures in at 16" x 11" and is perfect for 17" notebooks.

eSkins Laptop Skins in Use

I was sent both a medium and a large laptop skin for review. I wanted to see how hard it would be to trim the large to fit my 15.4" Acer laptop. It was hard. I basically butchered the skin to the point that it didn't look good so I ended up throwing it away. If you have to trim your skin, use a very sharp Exacto knife or scissors and be careful.

The medium size skin was a snap to install, and the correct size for my notebook. I had the skin installed in literally 5 minutes with virtually no air bubbles in the skin. Installation was as easy as peeling and sticking the skin on the top lid of the notebook.

All in all, this is an excellent product and when you are done the skins look fantastic. eSkins has quite a few skins for your to choose from, I had the space scene and the bio-hazard logo. Both skins were glossy and the artwork was superb. Simply an excellent product.
