"What is a Jumper?"Definition: A jumper is a small connector that connects two pins together to complete a circuit. Jumpers are used inside a computer to do several things. Hard drives use jumpers to tell the computer which drive is the master driveand which is the slave. The computers BIOS that holds basic settings uses a jumper to erase the settings as well.
