What is the ButtKicker Gamer?
The ButtKicker Gamer is a very small low frequency transducer that allows you to feel the bass in music, movies and games without having to turn the volume up greatly. The ButtKicker Gamer is silent and can be used with headphones.

The ButtKicker Gamer includes everything you need to connect it to your iPod, PC, Mac or game console such as the Xbox or PS2. The ButtKicker Gamer includes a 100 watt amplifier, clamp mechanism, and all required wires and cables.
The clamp mechanism is designed to securely attach the ButtKicker Gamer to most any middle post office type chair. The ButtKicker Gamer features a magnetic suspension and a thermal override to shut it down if it overheats. The ButtKicker Gamer is maintenance free and almost indestructible.
The cables included with the ButtKicker Gamer are high quality and allow you to connect it to most any device. The wiring for PC even allows you to be able to still use your subwoofer at the same time as the ButtKicker Gamer if you desire.
ButtKicker Gamer in Use
The ButtKicker Gamer is one of the coolest computer peripherals i have used to date. When I used it for gaming it added an entire new feel to new games and old games.
For example, at one point in Quake 4 you are in a walker and each step you take in the heavy machine is reverberated through your entire body. The bass of explosions and gun shots is felt rather than simply heard. The ButtKicker Gamer adds a whole new level of immersion to the gaming experience.
Movie watching with the ButtKicker Gamer is great too. If you think of the difference between watching a movie with simple two channel speakers as compared to the improved immersion that you get from a full THX certified surround sound system, you get the idea of the improvement the ButtKicker Gamer provides.
Watch a movie like Saving Private Ryan and you are there on the front lines with the soldiers and can feel the explosions going off all around you. Watch a movie at home with the ButtKicker Gamer and you will find yourself feeling hollow next time you watch a film in the theater. Movie watching just is not the same without the ButtKicker Gamer after your experience it.
Listening to music with the ButtKicker Gamer is really cool as well. If you live in an apartment, dorm or just have a significant other that hates to hear the bass, the ButtKicker Gamer is your salvation.
Turn off your subwoofer, plug in the ButtKicker Gamer and you get to feel the bass without getting a knock on your door from your neighbor. They should market the ButtKicker Gamer as a marriage therapy tool, cause it can really stop arguments over the volume of your music!
