This week NVIDIA launched its latest video card called the 8800 GT. The 8800 GT fits into the NVIDIA lineup right below the 8800 GTS 320MB and right above the NVIDIA 8600 GTS. NVIDIA says the price range for these cards will go to around $250, but expect overclocked version to retail for more. XFX has released its usually bevy of models carrying different clock speeds. The XFX 8800 GT XXX is the fastest model available for XFX and will carry a core clock of 670MHz and a memory clock of 1.95MHz. The card has 512MB of RAM and a 256-bit memory bus. Several of these cards are on their way for testing, but word is that one of these cards is actually faster than the more expensive 8800 GTS series and a pair outperforms the 8800 Ultra.
