Logitech Releases New Peripherals for the Award-Winning G-Series

All you gamers out there may want to sit down for this. Today, Logitech announced the addition of three new peripherals to its award-winning G-series line of products. The new additions--G19 Keyboard, G35 Surround Sound Headset, and G9x Laser Mouse--provide gamers will complete control.

The G19 Keyboard features a 320-by-240 pixel LCD color GamePanel. A tiltable componet, the GamePanel can provide information on up to sixty games as well as show VoIP communication data, CPU load, and other non-game information. It provides the ability to check on other items without ever leaving the game. Additionally, the G19 offers 12 fully-programmable G-keys, each with three marcos--providing gamers will 36 commands per game. The keyboard is compatable with both the G35 Headset and G9x Mouse.

The G35 Surround Sound Headset offers 7.1 surround sound powered by Dolby Headphone technology. It cuts out background noise, providing gamers with a complete experience and the ability to hear acoustics as if in a sound room. The headset has three G-keys on the left earpiece along with easy-to-use control buttons. Software included allows for six voice-morphing options.

The G9x Laser Mouse offers Logitech's next generation of laser. The mouse is easily adjustable from 200 to 5,000 dpi as to not interrupt game play. Other features of the mouse include onboard memory to store up to five ready-to-play profiles as well as interchangeable snap-on grips and custom-color LCD light.

While these peripherals can get pricey very quickly (all the items retail for around $100.00), surely plenty of gamers will want to hit the stores for these products today, but they will have to wait. The keyboard and headset will be available in March; the mouse is expected to be released for purchase in April.
