NVIDIA Prepping to Release a Market-busting Twin-GPU Graphics Card?

Sunday December 14, 2008

Internet rumors abound that Nvidia has a dynamite product to reveal at next month's CES trade show. Speculatively titled the GeForce GTX-295, it has two graphics processors and a whopping 1,792MB of DDR3 memory.

The Consumer Electronics Show -- universally known as CES -- is the world's largest consumer electronics trade show. Gadget fans and retailers look forward to it with absolute relish, and if Nvidia has a blockbuster GeForce product, that would be the place to expect to see it.

Engadget says the rumored video card would have the capacity to "destroy anything else on the market today." Precise details are still sketchy, and likely will be all the way up to the CES in January, but gamers on the look out for the next best graphics card shouldn't have to look much further than the next GeForce model.
